“FIRS CHAIRMAN, ADEDEJI, SQUANDERS N3.5BILLION ON BULLETPROOF SUVs, GOES ON A JAMBOREE TRIP TO LONDON WITH 15 AIDES”, JACKSON UDE ALLEGES

Zach Adedeji, FIRS Chairman

“At a time Bola Tinubu’s Government has refused to increase minimum wage for workers who are still at N30k (about $20) per month, the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue, FIRS, Zach Adedeji, allegedly squandered over N3.5billion of tax payers money on six Lexus LX600 Bulletproof SUVs recently.
“Not done with his jamboree, Adedeji flew 15 out of his almost 50 Aides to London where they were partying, jumping from club to club for days,” Jackson Ude, an anti-corruption activist said on Sunday via his X handle.
“Insiders told me Adedeji has been moving funds to London where he is acquiring choice properties, using one of his trusted Aide called Juwon.
“Angry insiders further revealed that Adedeji who might end up as the most corrupt FIRS Chairman, padded his office with several Aides who are at Directors levels such as a Chief of Staff, SA Special Duties, SA Technical, SALogistics, SAFacility Management, SA Prosecution, SA Legal, SA Human Capital, SA Tax Matters,  SA Customer Centricity , SA Communications and Advocacy,  SA New Media, SA Digital Media, SA ICT, SA Medium Tax Matters, SA Large Tax Matters, SA Small Tax Matters, Principal Private Secretary,  Protocol, all Directorate cadre. On top of that, he has 5 Personal Assistants.
“Only recently, Adedeji allegedly collected millions of dollars in kickbacks to help the South African owned Multichoice evade over $1.5billion in taxes owed Nigeria over several years,” Jackson Ude further said.
